TAKE NOTICE that a Petition has been filed against you in the District Court of Davidson County, North Carolina.  The nature of the relief being sought is Adjudication of the above-captioned child as a neglected and a dependent juvenile.

You are required to answer the Petition and make defense to such pleading not later than forty (40) days (April 1, 2019) after the date of first publication of this notice.  Upon your failure to do so, Petitioner will apply to the court for an order adjudicating the above-captioned child as a neglected and a dependent juvenile.  

You have the right to be represented by a lawyer in this case. If you want a lawyer and cannot afford one, the Court will appoint a lawyer to represent you.
