It’s baacckk…
Dust off the lawn chairs and break out the blankets - Friday evening, May 9 will mark the season’s first Movie Night in the Park for 2008. This fun family event is held several times throughout the spring, summer and fall so that Denton friends (and visitors!) can gather downtown to enjoy a movie on the big (inflatable) screen.
This month’s film is a 2007 comedy of “Biblical” proportions and stars Steve Carell as a would-be Noah, Morgan Freeman as God, a multitude of animals – all in pairs I might add, and a really big boat. Due to copyright restrictions the name of the movie cannot be published in the newspaper; however, here’s a hint: try unscrambling the letters VENA LYAMITGH. Still don’t know the name? Call 859-3131 or 859-4231 and we’ll let you in on the secret.
The movie starts at dusk – around 8:30 p.m. – in Harrison Park. There is no charge for admission, but donations are welcomed and appreciated, and will go to fund future movie events.
